Joshua 1:8-9 NIV Keep this book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Middle children are often stereotyped as the most challenging or overlooked members of the family; labels many parents unfortunately accept without question. When my second-born son was only five or six years old, a prophet singled him out of my three children and declared he would one day be a leader. At that time, I could only chuckle, as he was typically at the center of every sibling dispute. I spent many years in frustrated prayer and frequenting the principal’s office to address his behavior. However, upon reaching manhood, he underwent a profound transformation. Choosing a path of repentance and focusing his energy on enhancing his acting and bass guitar skills, my son laid aside his anger and ego at the foot of the cross. The Holy Spirit responded by illuminating who HE made him to be. To God be the glory!
